How are Appointments Scheduled?

Our office schedules appointments at your convenience whenever time is available. Children 6 years and younger should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence; we will provide the necessary documentation for your child’s school. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when children receive regular dental care.

Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Another patient who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard. Missing more than 1 appointment without 48 hours notice may result in a broken appointment fee that must be paid prior to scheduling another appointment.

In order to create a positive and safe environment for all of our patients, we do ask that you respect the following:

How to create a positive and safe environment

  • Should you wish to accompany your child during their appointment, due to space constraints and safety reasons, only one parent is permitted to be present in the exam room.
  • Our only play area is in the reception area. If you choose to bring siblings, we may ask that you remain in the reception area while we see your child.
  • Cell phone use is not permitted in the treatment areas
  • No food or drink is allowed in the treatment areas
