We hope you are staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented time. Recommendations are changing almost daily and we are staying on top of these and will communicate these to you in a timely fashion.
The Stay-At-Home Order issued by Governor Pritzker mandates that all Illinoisans stay home except for seeking essential services such as groceries, gas or healthcare needs through April 7, 2020. As a healthcare provider, our dental office is deemed essential, meaning we are still open and here for you! Although we are open, please know that due to the recommendations set forth by the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society as well as the Center for Disease Control, we are only able to see patients with emergency dental needs until we have been instructed otherwise. Unfortunately, we do not have a timeline for when we will be able to resume normal business operations, but once we do we will communicate this to you.
Dental emergencies can be classified as:
If any of your children are in need of emergency dental care during this time please give our office a call at 708-386-5437 prior to coming in so we can be prepared to provide the care needed to your child. We will have staff available to answer phones and e-mails between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. A staff member will still be available 24/7 for our patients for any after-hour phone calls or questions you may have. Please call our normal office number to be forwarded to our emergency line.
Thank you for your understanding. By reducing the spread of this virus, we can help lessen the burden of our local hospital systems and allow for those with the most dire needs to be treated in a more timely manner. To help minimize the burden on emergency rooms – please let your family, friends or coworkers know that we are here and available to treat pediatric dental emergencies.
In the meantime, please be safe and sound in your homes. Remember to wash your hands, floss, brush, then wash your hands again!
